High school chem class was never this much fun. The mad scientists behind Bauhaus Brew Labs use their sense of play and adventure to tweak classic German-inspired beer styles. Bauhaus promotes art in all aspects of life by hosting periodic craft fairs featuring local artisans. Join your furry four-legged friend in the colorful, funky taproom housed in the former Crown Iron Works building. The taproom at MetroNOME Brewery is alive with the sound of music. Co-founders Bill Eddins and Matt Engstrom both have had illustrious careers in music, so it was a natural choice to combine their passions. MetroNOME regularly hosts music shows, classes, and workshops, while some of the brewery's proceeds help fund local music education programs for Twin Cities youths. Odd couple Zac and Joe, from banking and biology backgrounds respectively, found common ground in their desire to create quality craft beer. The dog-friendly taproom is always full of fun, with a selection of board games and video games and a lively trivia contest each Wednesday night. The history of their namesake city is deep within the walls of Saint Paul Brewing. Three of the buildings once home to iconic Hamm's Brewing now hold Saint Paul Brewing's operations.
